Join us for our February 11th auction of Canadian Folk Art. This sale features a curation of notable items from Western Canada, Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritime regions, as well as a variety of American Outsider Art. We are pleased to present two rare and exceptional paintings by Cyril Hirtle, quirky and fabulous Joe Sleep paintings, Maud Lewis paintings with exceptional provenance, and works by Joe Norris of magnificent land, sea and waterscapes.

In addition, we have a number of excellent Maritime carvings by important artists including Sid Howard, Eddie Mandaggio, and the ever so hard to find Charlie Tanner.

From Ontario, this sale features vibrant and colourful paintings by artist Barbara Clark-Fleming and carvings by the renowned Ewald Rentz, alongside many more carvings by Ontario artists of notable mention.

Quebec folk art is particularly well-represented in this sale with several flat-plane carvings by the Master carvers of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, from the extensive collection of the late Mark Zannis. We are excited to have rare works by artists such as Felicien Levesque, Pierre Corriveau, Leo Fournier, Edmund Chatigny, and an amazing rooster by yard artist extraordinaire, Alcide Saint Germaine. We are proud to offer eleven beautiful birds by the Gaspe artist Yvon Cote and several fine pieces by renowned artists such as Berchmans Charest, Magella Normand, Albert Deroy, Claude Lamontagne and Leonard Croteau. This is not a sale to be missed.

Buyers bidding with MillerLive will pay the in-house premium of 18%.

Payment Terms
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash. A certified cheque or wire transfer is required for all invoices over $5,000.

Shipping Terms
Our in-house shipping department can safely package and ship your order locally and internationally.
