Description
St-Etienne-des-Gres, Quebec. C. 1980. Very well detailed model of a couple in a covered covered wagon, with a man and dog leading two yoked oxen in front. Leonard Croteau was a master carver with a very strong colour sense as evidenced by this carving. Signed "Leonard Croteau" on base by right rear wagon wheel.
