Description
A small pine deed box with fine geometric and chip carving on the top and three sides. The carving on the top appears at first to be a random assortment of lines and fans but it is actually a very symmetrical pattern of linked motifs. All in the original brown paint. New Brunswick, circa 1830. Unmarked.
Condition
Good, untouched original surface. Old age crack to the lid.
