Description
A lot of two pine bird carvings by Hudson Langille, Nova Scotia: the first is carved on a base having an incised heart, traces of original paint and writing on the base with NS legible. Legs re-glued; the second has a raised tail and rests on long feet. Good dry surface, with wear. Both early 20th century. Bird on stand marked, "NS", underneath (for Nova Scotia).
Condition
Good, untouched original surface. The legs on the bird on the base have been broken and glued back in place.
