A stunning Star of Bethlehem quilt in multiple radiating colours on a cream background with a variant Oak Leaf pattern in each corner and with four birds of paradise completing the overall design. Each end is finished with a broad border of diamonds and multi colour dots. Hand stitched with a hanging sleeve for wall mounting. Minor sun fading on the border. Late 19th century.

Very good hand stitched. vibrant colours. Pocket attached for hanging.
