Canadian. 1918. Victory Bonds were loans to the government that could be redeemed with interest. They were released during 5 different campaigns between 1915 and 1918. Each release had a supporting poster. This poster shows a Canadian infantry soldier looking towards the frontline. The artist/creator is unknown. Marked, "W.P.6.", at lower left.
Condition
Very good- excellent restored condition and canvas backed. Closed Edge tears from lower edge with some recolouring. Most significant C-shaped tear in upper right corner with some re-colour. Upper right corner is partially restored.
