Description
American. 1860-1880. These types of lamps were made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts and other manufacturers. The maker of this lamp is unknown. Glass, brass, marble. White loopings swirled on a cranberry pyriform font, brass ribbed stem, marble base. #1 early cranberry lip chimney, #1 early lip burner. Ruby to colourless Oregon shade with rough-cut foliage. Burner thumbwheel marked, “E.F. JONES PATENT.JAN.11.1859”.
