Description
American. 1860-1880. These types of lamps were made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts and other manufacturers. The maker of this lamp is unknown. Glass, metal, marble. White loopings on a cranberry urn-form font, ribbed brass stem, marble base. “0” lip chimney, “0” Wade and Burnham lip burner. White mold-blown porcelain shade with ribs and ruffled top shade. Burner thumbwheel marked, “PATENT.APRIL 6, 1858".
Condition
Wear to corner of marble base, minor flakes.
