Description
American. 1860-1880. These types of lamps were made by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts and other manufacturers. The maker of this lamp is unknown. Glass, brass. Cranberry loopings swirled on opaque white globular font; brass ribbed stem; double stepped marble base with brass accents; #1 lip chimney; #1 lip burner. Ruby to colourless Oregon shade with rough-cut foliage. Burner thumbwheel marked, “E.F.JONES. PATENT.JAN.11.1859”.
Condition
Chip to fitter rim of shade.
