Description
Canadian. 1963. Pine, laminated wood, leather. Carving of a uniformed young lady, almost certainly Queen Elizabeth II, sitting side saddle upon a horse. The red, black and gold uniform is closely similar to that of the Scots Guards. The horse is in natural wood colour with white painted fetlocks. Side of base is marked "E. D. 1963" and the underside is marked in paint with "76" followed by either "ANG" or "ANS".
Condition
Only remnants of the leather reins remain.
