Description
Diminutive Quebec dome-top valuables box in crusty red paint over earlier green. Square nailed lap-joint construction with a flat base and beveled moulding. From the Alan Emerson Collection. Exhibits two splits in the lid as well as areas of wear and paint loss consistent with age. Keyhole was filled in when the lock was removed. Areas of minor paint restoration are evident. Pine, iron.
