Description
Pine document box of dovetailed construction with a pyramid shaped lid, original brass hardware, lock and escutcheon. Retains an early brown paint surface. The interior is lined with a newspaper from Cincinnati, Ohio, dated 1850. Previously from the Gerard Bourget Collection. Good condition with minor wear and paint loss.
