Description
Canadian. Circa 1856-1867. 2-5 examples known to Don. Barrel marked, "MOSSER/CN SAUGEEN C W". 32”, .40 calibre barrel. Barrel shows some staining, light wear and contact marks. The curly maple stock shows some minor blemishes and a small loss below the lock. Brass furniture hammer is loose, will hold at half and full cock but spring is very weak and lock does not function properly. Don and Joyce Blyth collection. CODE:FIREA
