Description
A watercolour of a southwestern Ontario farmstead with two houses, barns and outbuildings, signed "E.H. Eaton. Charing Cross, Ont". The white clapboard house was likely the original home with the brick house being built during later more prosperous times. Excellent detail with page wire fences, a windmill, stacked firewood, etc. Very good condition. 1870-90. E.H. Eaton, Charing Cross Ont. in lower right.
