An exceptional Star of Bethlehem quilt in four colours of blues and orange with the central star surrounded by a pair of peacocks within a triangle on each side and the corners having squares with hearts and a floral motif. All within a broad border of linked flower baskets. Note the fabric covered button at the centre of the star. Completely hand stitched and in very good condition with an added sleeve for wall hanging. 19th century.
