Description
A stretcher base pine drop leaf table purportedly from a tavern near Blockhouse Nova Scotia. Great form with splayed and chamfered legs, stretcher base and a drawer in each end. The pull supports for the leaves are held in place by heavy hand forged brackets. The top is scrubbed to the natural finish and the colour on the base has been restored. 1790-1820.
Condition
Table has been repainted. Minor repairs.
