An extremely fine and early (1704) show towel/sampler with oral history from New Amsterdam (now New York). Ninety nine separate images including birds, carpets, flowers and people in period costume such as a man walking a dog, children skipping, lady spinning yarn, etc. Mounted in a contemporary frame. Ninety nine separate pictures all in period clothing.
