Description
A rare rodback Windsor clerk's armchair branded "Cutter & Power, Halifax Warranted" with a high H stretcher and turned front foot rail. In an old refinished surface with a warm patina. Some height loss, crude glue repairs where the legs join the seat and there is a repaired break to the crest rail. Nova Scotia, circa 1810.
Condition
Refinished and some regluing done to seat and legs.
