A miniature pine chest of drawers in great crackled paint with two drawers and a high backboard having a heart at the apex surmounted by a carved oak leaf. The shaped backboard also has two oil lamp brackets (one restored along with the backboard edge on the left side). Each side has a central star and decorative applied details. Dry surface, small rosehead nails. Some loss to the centre medallions on the drawers, minor chip on right foot. Quebec mid 19th century. Unmarked.

Untouched original, nicely crazed surface. Edge losses to the upper edge of lower drawer front. Remnants of the original pull on the lower drawer. Loss to the right edge of the front skirt. Minor restoration to the skirt.
