A lot of two miniature framed portraits, one a 19th century watercolour showing a girl in a plaid dress holding a small bird on her finger, unsigned; the other, found in Craighurst, Ontario, is a charcoal/pastel of a young toddler holding a doll, identified as Ann Hall, born February 16, 1818, who became the wife of John Phily Hellis. Girl with Doll marked on reverse.
Condition
Good condition, some roughness to the frame of the girl with plaid dress and some discolouration and fading on the toddler with doll portrait.
