German. Early 1900s. Despite the french name, Georges Carette was a German company that produced a large line of superb toys. This Carette limousine was made during a period when cars were only for the very rich and the toys based on them were also only for the very rich. A hard to find toy in any condition. Unmarked.

Fair original condition. Clockwork motor tested and working. Shows heavy playwear. Retains original pinstriping.
