Description
German. 1930s/1940s. Toys marked "Made in Zone US Germany" evolved post-WWII, when American authorities occupied certain controlled territories in Germany. In order for toys to be permitted to be sold and exported out of a German territory, the marking, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" had to be included. Marked, "Made in Germany US Zone", on underside.
Condition
Fair to good overall complete condition. Tested and working. Retains both original flags. There is significant paint loss to one side of the hull.
