Description
German. 1940s. Toys marked, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" evolved post WWII, when American authorities occupied certain controlled territories in Germany. In order for toys to be permitted to be sold and exported out of German territory, the marking, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" had to be included. Marked, with Arnold logo on gas tank. Marked, "Made in Germany U.S. Zone", on gas tank and on underside.
Condition
Good to very good condition. Drive mechanism is working. Sparking mechanism requires service. Rear wheel shows wear and minor loss. Baggage rack is misshapen.
