Description
German. 1940s. Toys marked, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" evolved post WWII, when American authorities occupied certain controlled territories in Germany. In order for toys to be permitted to be sold and exported out of German territory, the marking, "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" had to be included. Marked, "Arnold", on gas tank. Marked, "Made in U.S. Zone Germany", below seat on right side.
Condition
Good condition. Some playwear particularly to gloves and paint on rear wheel. Headlight sparks. Tested and working.
