Description
American. 1910s. William Schieble was originally a partner in the D.P. Clark & Company until they had a falling out, at which time Schieble bought out Messr's Clark. The "hill climber" friction toys were a line of toys initiated by D.P. Clark and carried on by Schieble. This trolley represents one of that line of toys. Unmarked.
Condition
Very good condition. Friction drive tested and working. Lever operating door works. Shows playwear, with nicks and scratches evident. Toy has two opening doors and a clerestory roof.
