Description
Marshalltown, Nova Scotia. 1960-1962. This scarce Maud Lewis serial image features a docked fishing schooner at a colourful cove in Digby County. The blue hull of the schooner leads the eye through blue waters, into the skies. The central prominence of the fishing schooner is a striking reminder of Lewis' lust for the cove. Signed, "Lewis", lower right.
