Laval, Quebec. Last quarter 20th century. A rarely available group of 22 figures associated with the famous miniature circus by renowned Laval, Quebec carver, Gaston Bergeron. This collection includes circus employees and observers, all meticulously scaled with great colour and detail. Over a period of about 35 years, Bergeron crafted numerous circus wagons, each one numbered and featuring its animals or entertainers inside. A large part of his circus collection is housed at The Canadian Museum of Civilization in Hull, Quebec. Unsigned.
Condition
All good condition. Minor paint wear as expected with age. No breaks.
