Don Boudreau is best known for making painted carvings of bathing beauties, but he also made life-sized carvings of people, whirligigs, animals, birds, and a small number of paintings. He is well-published (From the Heart) and is in the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia as well as the Museum of History in Hull, Quebec. A charming and simple view of a deer in a clearing. Stamped and dated, "1984", on reverse. Signed, lower right front.
