Windsor, Nova Scotia. 1993. A charming and colourful oil on board painting of a Nova Scotia estate by the sea with a sailboat passing by in the background by noted Nova Scotia artist Frank Carson. Carson began painting at seven years old in 1935. He was still painting when this painting was sold in 1993. He is widely collected and his work is sold at the Prow House Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The three birds in the sky are his trademark and appear in all of his paintings. Signed, "Frank Carson 1993", bottom right.
