Canadian. 1940s. Rare 24" double-sided version of one of Canada's most recognizable petroliana signs. Marked, "P&M", lower edge of one side. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. All purchases are eligible for free delivery to the AACA Hershey Auto Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania on October 9-10. Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #031247).
Condition
Condition: 9.25/9.25. Excellent. Untouched and original. One side: faint scratches, one to the top of rose, 'W' of "white", and right side green leaf. Minor flakes to edge and a pea-sized impact to red border above 'T' in "white". Superb colour and gloss. Other side: Excellent. 3 pinpoint flakes. One in the 'T' of "white", one to lower edge of 'E' in "white", other to red border surrounding flower. One pea-sized loss to the red border to the 'R' in "rose". Tiny edge bites. One pinpoint flake to the white border in the lower right quarter. Retains correct teardrop hangers and wall bracket. Retains wind support anchor and chains.
