American. 1943. A WWII propaganda poster showing large exaggerated caricature heads of Adolf Hitler and Hideki Tojo (Prime Minister of Japan during most of WWII) staring out as forest fires blaze in the background. The poster was used to bolster American support for the war effort by saying if the USA doesn't pay attention to the German/Japanese problem, the problem will only get bigger (as depicted by the raging fire). Issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The creator is unknown. Marked, "U.S. Government Printing Office 1943-O-505840", at lower left. Marked, "2885", in ink at lower left.

Excellent colour. Fold creasing present. Slight edgewear.
