Canadian. Last half 19th century. Unusual powderhorn with three openings. One at the small end, as is typical, another on the side which is covered by an attached rectangular box with a pivoting lid, and another which has a moveable sprung rectangular opening in the large plug. With an old rope hanger.

Very good condition. Plug missing at small end.
