Toronto, Canada. C. 1891. This is a Conservative Party of Canada election poster lithograph presenting a gloomy future for Ontario should the Liberals win the election. Present are future Canadian Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier (1841 - 1919) and Richard John Cartwright (1835 - 1912) and others now acting as cronies for US President Benjamin Harrison (1833 - 1901) who looks on in the background. Marked, "Published by the Industrial League, Frederic Nicholls, Hon. Sec.", in bottom margin, "Toronto Lith Co", at bottom-right.
