Canadian. C. 1946 The John Leckie Company was founded in 1861 in Toronto and sold commercial fishing supplies and marine-related hardware. It was perhaps best known for "Leckie's Work Boots". The calendar shows a fluid depiction of a sailboat on rough waters (artist unknown).
