German. 1950s. Both toys are marked "U.S.-Zone Germany". Post-war German manufacturers were banned from exporting goods. Americans occupying the territories permitted the sale and export of toys so long as they were marked "Made in U.S. Zone Germany". This marking was used from the mid to late 1940s with stock often continuing into the 1950s. Marked, on boxes and top side of bases.

Both in great condition with some playwear evident. Tested and working. Original boxes with some detached flaps. Tested and working.
