Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia. Late 20th century. Charlie Norris (1929-2009) was the younger brother of Joe Norris. An accomplished artist in his own right, his work was nontheless influenced by his older brother. Here is a serene oil on board painting of a Nova Scotia coast line showing the rocky shore dotted with the ever present seagulls. Frame made and decorated by the artist. Signed "C. Norris" at lower right.
