Description
Ontario. 1870s-1880s. Two redware jars; the larger one with an exceptionally mottled dark green and orange glaze on the lid. A likely provenance of Western Ontario potteries.
Condition
Two very small and minor chips are evident along the rim of the covered jar. A little wear in the glaze can be seen along the rim of the smaller jar and a couple of chips, each approximately 1" in length, exist on the base rim.
Medium
Redware.
