Description
American. Ca: 1875. Tin, wood, carpet, glass. Wedge shaped foot warmer with pine sides, a circular glass window to cast floor light, and the body of tole. The interior retains the small early kerosene burner, bearing patent marks. The door covered in period early woven carpet. Side of body stenciled, "PAT MAR 7". Thumbwheel of burner marked, "Pat Jan 16 83 & Feb 11 73".
