Canadian. 1976. Softwood. Very well carved scene of a fisherman in a birchbark canoe with an open reel fishing rod. He has landed a huge fish which barely fits into the canoe. Wonderful muted colours and surface distinguish this carving, which is mounted to a painted pine board. Signed "Walt Seper 1976" on stern.
