Description
A punt paddle (10'). This type of paddle was used to pole a duck hunting punt or skiff by a person standing in back of the punt. The person is referred to as a “punter” who propels the craft by pushing off the bottom of the marsh. Virtually all skiffs (punts) in waterfowl areas had them. In a tawny colour paint with original blue visible underneath. Circa 1900. 10' length, 6.5" blade. CODE-CAN
