American. Serial number 17119571, circa 1908. The Waltham watch has an 18 size full plate, two tone movement, model 1892 with 17 jewels and a micro metric regulator. It is stem wind and lever set. It is beautifully damascened. The open face case is marked Silveroid and is highly polished. The dial has a number of hairline cracks. The case exhibits minor patches of oxidation. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment. Offered without reserve. CODE:POC
