American. Serial number 20049194, circa 1915. This 16 size Waltham Pocket watch has a three quarter plate, nickel movement with 21 jewels and a micro metric regulator. It is stem wind and lever set; adjusted to 5 positions, temperature and isochronism and marked with grade number "645". The dial is enamel, double sunk, and features the Canadian RR style 24 hour markings with bold Arabic numerals and spade hands. The open faced case is rolled gold. There is one faint hairline near the "12" and "1", but no chips. There are a couple of pry points on the bezel and body. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment. Offered without reserve. CODE:POC
