American. Serial number 33773254, circa 1952. This 16 size open face Waltham pocket watch has a three quarter plate, 23 jewels movement with a micro metric regulator. It is stem wind and lever set (the lever near 11) and has 8 adjustments (temperature, 6 positions and isochronism). It has a double sunk, enamel, Canadian style, 24-hour dial with bold Arabic numerals and spade hands, The open faced case is gold filled with a screwed back and bezel. Runs and sets. No apparent cracks, hairlines or chips on the dial. The watch was found to be running at the time of cataloguing. It has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may require adjustment.
