Canadian. Circa 1851-1879. See Gooding Page 148. Includes original photograph of William P. Marston. Lock marked, "JOSH.GOLCHER". Each barrel marked, "W.P.MARSTON MAKER TORONTO C.W.". The barrels exhibit a couple of small areas of heavy pitting and contact marks. The walnut stock with cheek piece and good checkering shows a short crack near the butt plate. Brass furniture and engraved tang swivel mechanism is activated by pulling the rear trigger and remains tight in both positions. Hammer is loose but lock functions properly.
