Large English mahogany cased telescope. 19th Century. The telescope with tapered mahogany barrel, a separate small barrel with eyepiece and two additional eye pieces. Signed, "Dollond, London". The brass stand with folding cabriole legs and with a bracing arm. Adjustable at two positions with locking pin. Base tilts and pivots. The case with three hinges, brass reinforcements to the outer edges and a brass lock plate. Lock absent.
