Quebec pine armoire. Late 18th century. Of framed and paneled construction. The removable doors each with three rattail forged iron hinges. The doors each with two flat panels, surrounded by carved moldings. The ends with corresponding panels. Framed horizontal backboards, with overpaint removed. Now in brown paint. Interior shelves restored. Tops of rear posts pieced out, feet pieced, cornice and base molding repaired/restored. Note pasted inside door suggest this armoire is from the Lotbinière area. 82 x 63 x 26 1/4". CODE:FUR
