American. 1825. Transitional style. Mahogany with stenciled quarter columns and splat. Feet have been shortened. Wooden dial with Roman numerals. Thirty-hour time and strike weight driven wooden works movement. Label marked, "Patent Clocks Made & Sold by Samuel Terry, Bristol, Conn". 26" (h); 17" (w); 5" (d). Original glass with marked flaking/cracked. Tablet cracked and shows marked flaking. Dial also flaking. Feet have been shortened. Dick Withington collection.
