Description
American. 1910s. A coin-operated masterpiece outfitted with original and replica components. Professionally modified from a Seeburg style "A". The player piano melody is backed by a tightly-packed orchestra of bass and snare drums, two ranks of flute pipes, a mandolin feature, cymbal, and triangle with automatic expression. The Seeburg "G" is considered America's favourite orchestrion because it unfailingly sparks delight and amazement. Recut rolls "G" from the 'teens through the '30s and beyond are readily available, making it easy to build an instant library of great music. Retains the correct torch mosaic leaded art glass doors. The machine was enjoyed and maintained by Ken Vinen until his death in 2019. Marked, J.P Seeburg Orchestrion" front. 66 x 79 x 29". Includes 13 "G" rolls. Ken Vinen collection. CODE-MUM
