Toronto, Ontario. Third quarter 20th century. Norman Burleigh (1904-1965), Clarence Burleigh (1902-1970). Pictured in "Traditions in Wood : A History of Wildfowl Decoys in Canada". The Burleigh Brothers workshop and boat house was near the shore of Ashbridges Bay.
Condition
Excellent original paint on hen. Excellent body paint on drake with significant paint flaking to the head. Both structurally excellent. Felt has been applied underneath each bird.
