Description
American. C. 1902. Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle. .38-55 calibre, 26” hexagonal barrel. Blued finish. Full-length magazine tube and crescent butt. Serial 144049. Manufactured circa 1902. Front Lyman blade sight with bead insert, with buckhorn style rear with slider. Tang sight. Calibre is marked on the barrel behind the rear sight. Winchester markings and patent dates on barrel. Includes a soft rifle case. Legal Status: Non-Restricted. Valid PAL required to purchase if in Canada.
Condition
Condition is good, with the original bluing faded at the high edges. Some faint colour case hardening traces visible on hammer. Minor scratches, cleaned pitting, and oxidation throughout. Stock finish is fine, dulled from handling with minor scratches and dents on butt. Mechanically good with tight action. Bore is good with strong rifling and minor spotting visible.
